Generally
frost tolerant, Xanthorrhoea require well drained soil, in
a sunny or part shade area. They can also be grown successfully
in pots.
Station
Creek Tree Farm have been legally salvaging these trees from
land clearing operations for the past 14 years, and were the
first Australian Company to export these trees in commercial
quantities.
For the
past 3 years we have been salvaging the hardiest species of
them all (Glauca), from a land clearing operation in Southern
Queensland. This tree has a growth rate of about 1 centimeter
per year.
To guarantee
survival the Xanthorrhoea is first re-established in pots.
Full cultural notes and planting procedures are supplied with
each shipment of Xanthorrhoea.
